Wacky Weather

September is cat show time, again.

Since I was already working on a fire theme

for an installation I'm calling "Nostalghia",

I decided to run with it for the cat show, too.

Firestarter is enjoying some truly wild and wooly weather,

on the usually serene grounds of the KittyCats main store.

I was surprised to see no fewer than 

3 tornadoes in the kittycats displays.

So far, "Firestarter", (AKA Eduardo),

appears to be the only cat harboring

a fondness for incendiary pleasures.

Brave Janet

Ivy Norsk's "Brave Janet"

Genghis and the Photobomber

Genghis the megapuss wasn't exactly a lonely boy.

He had plenty of other kittycat playmates,

he simply didn't have any his own size.

He dreamed of someday finding a pal he didn't 

have to worry about stepping on all the time

  

One day, I brought home a bandit girl.

As tiny as she was, I knew she'd grow up to be

a megacat Goddess worthy of Genghis' attention.

And suddenly, the world was full 

of megapussi looking for a home.

Minerva the tawny toyger was next to arrive on the island.

Following right on her heels was Marlowe, 

la Tigre Blanca, Moon Goddess extraordinaire.

The tiny Island is now crawling with megapuss girls of 

all colors and sizes, each one trying to catch Genghis' eye.

(They also do their best to catch my attention,

as anyone with kittycats already knows.)

All of the kittycats love to pose in front of the camera,

but the bandit with the firey eyes is the biggest camera hog of all.

She's loves to photobomb the other cats,

As soon as I have a nice shot lined up, 

in jumps the photobombing bandit. 

Don't tell her I said so, but she is a very photogenic cat,

Now that the island is home to Genghis' megapuss harem, 

he's looking for ways to escape the girls and go off on his own.

I introduced him to my flying tree. 

Up he climbs, and he and I take off to explore the grid.

I'm sure that there will be many adventures to follow...

White Le Tigre Day

Oh boy oh boy!

I found a Mega White le Tigre, just put out for sale.

She was even affordable.

I am dancing in circles over my good fortune.

Genghis looks pleased, too.

Maybe more than pleased....

I tried to name her Ishtar, but she wan't having any.

Her name is Marlowe, she told me, 

and that is that.

Marlowe it is.
