Catlandia needs your Help!

I've just been informed that my secondlife home is going to be reabsorbed into the ether,
Unless, hopefully, I can talk the landlord into letting me rent the whole thing.
The rent would be just a tad over $US100 per month, and,
if I can get 3 other people to go in on it with me,
it will be approx. $US28 each per month for a quarter sim.

The sim  I hope to save is made up mainly of green mountains;
the sandy one with shops and buildings is the neighboring estate.

It's a very pretty place, surrounded by water,
with light traffic at the VKC Dog Park next door.
It's the perfect place to raise and breed cats, even sell a few.

Prims are limited because it's a Homestead, not a full sim.
I don't remeber exactly how many you get with a homestead,
but I think a quarter sim gives you around 1500LI to play with.

Here's what it looks like right now.
I would like to keep it pretty much as is;
private islands with channels between them
and mountains to shield the view of your neighbors.

No heavy traffic, but light commerce would be possible.
I always try to keep the heavy breeding up in the air,
where it won't cause a ton of lag, and would expect the same
from anyone else who might want to move here.

It's not a given that the landlord will even let me do this,
but since I really don't want to move, I have to try.

Riding the Crocodile

Sometimes you just get tired of dry land.

The pirates agree.

They always enjoy a nice swim.

These tigers don't seem to mind the water, either.

When I'm in the mood to get wet,
I like to hop on the croc and ride around.

The island is loveliest viewed from beneath the surface.

I just have to convince the cats to join me.

I start them off slow, entering through
the warm pond that leads into the sea.

Now I just have to find the croc.
He's up there somewhere.

When he swims by, we hop on.

He cruises around in circles all day,
and doesn't seem to notice a few riders.

When we get tired, we wait until he
passes by the stream and hop off.

I think the cats enjoyed themselves.
If not, I hope they'll forgive me.
