The Bunny Garden

Biobreeds was handing out a free box of Bunnies for testing.

Of course I had to have some, but I had no room for them.
Fortunately, I ran into a lady who offered me some land,
and even though I promised I wouldn't to go prim crazy,
of course I did. What do you expect? I'm a builder.

So here I am on a big vacant piece of land with
ten bunnies and the start of a really nice garden.

As soon as I installed the fountain, the bunnies headed
straight into the water. You can't keep them out of it.

It wouldn't be so bad, but they always go to sleep.
I send them home, but the minute I turn my back
they go right back into the fountain for a snooze.

Next, I simply had to have some Butterflies.
A Lot of Butterflies. All kinds of Butterflies.

They flit around exactly like the real thing,
and are almost impossible to photograph.

Then I remembered that I had a spider, and decided
that no garden can be complete without one or two.

Much thanks to ChrisCraft, who gave me both the spider
and a "bucket of spiders" particle rezzer last Halloween.

With a little modification, I made a very nice
baby spider nest complete with spider sounds.

I bet you never knew Spiders make sounds.

This spider is a Black Widow.

The next thing I couldn't live without was a pool.
Just a little one....

Of course I had already brought in a tree.
I added some grass, and cattails, and papyrus.

I felt like it would be a nice setting to sit,
and look at pictures on my Petra scroll.

Since I had the tree, a swing would be nice.
I already had the wonderful aerialist hoop.

It's a great place. She has the property up for sale,
(just like in real life), so I will have to give it back,
eventually.

In the meantime, I can bring the kittens here to play.
I opened a couple of my vampire kitten boxes,
just to have a peak at them before repacking.

They've gone back to the cattery, because I can't afford
to feed every cat I have in there, more than 150 right now.

But I'm having a lot of  fun playing in my borrowed Garden.

Kittycat Particles

The Kittycats all come with particles.

Different breeds of cats have different kinds,
and they're all very hard to photograph.

Quetzal looks puzzled by his.

Flame paint jobs

Since I missed out on the Fire Flurry cat,
I've been asking Callie to make another
KittyCat with a flame paint job, please.

Maybe she could use the same style, just change the color.
I know I'd be thrilled, although I'm still kicking myself for
missing out on the original red and orange gorgeous cat.

Maybe Pink?

Or Electric Blue?

Or Turquoise?

Or all of the above?

The exquisite original.

The Floating Jar

While fooling around at the LEA Art Sandbox,
I decided to tear apart a flying head in a Jar avatar
and make my own full body sized floating jar, with sound.

Then I went off to check out Bryn Oh's Owl sim.
It was dusk when I arrived.

It didn't take long to find a couple of owls.

I found the Owl Hangout Tree just as it was getting dark.

The sim looks best at night.

I was enjoying my new Jar so much,
I decided to go visit my favorite love birds
on the roof of the KittyCatS Main store.

These roof cats are stationary,
and a lot bigger than the ones I own.

On the way home, I dropped by the Grand Canyon,
just as the sun was coming up over the cliffs.

The it was back to Stray Cats Island,
to try on a few brand new bathing suits,
and play with my Toygers and other Cats.

I just hatched a couple of beautiful silver Toygers
with golden whiskers and Morning Glory blues eyes.

This little Darling I named Zack.

I called the girl Petunia, but she complained.
She was happy with the name Delia, however.

And I found a couple of the new fall collection cats
for half price on the secondary market.

They come in really crazy looking heart boxes.

When they're hatched, these fallen angels
are wearing blue halos and shooting stars.

I named them Julia and Eduardo,
after a couple of my real life friends.

They were sleeping peacefully when I logged out.

Real Life Cats

Lest anyone think I'm only cat crazy in Second Life,
I have three warm living cats in my first life as well.

This is Felina.

This is my darling Mitz.

And the one in the sweater is Annie,
terror of the Humane Society.

They have many names; these are the ones I'm using this week.
